THAT was my first thought after reading the thread. Not only does all the glass promote alot of interio heat, but it also contirbutes to fading. :( Plus, you have to be a contortionist to clean the glass!

I too am happy the 5th Gen. will have a trunk. Not only with it make the glass easier to clean, it will also allow a place to store your valuables out of site.

As long as I can fit a good sub box in it, I'm happy with the trunk. The Cobalt had the thinnest trunk opening I've ever seen. It was like trying to fit an elephant in a Smart car.

i'm not sure which i prefer... i like the openness of the hatch, but like the privacy of the trunk too. so i think which ever it is i'll be happy

Looks like GM had all us Christmas tree buyers in mind this go around, that is the functional use behind the reverse mohawk! We can get a functional mohawk but not vents FTW?
