Sounds like we may want to shift to maybe a monthly gathering. Pick a few different locations so all get some close to them at some point. And then add some driving, cruising and/or other activity, a member baseball or golf or whatever interests the group event just to enjoy. Something we should start talking about as a group.

Agree with the guys that go for the hobby and the friends. If you are into the points and cleaning your car, then more power to you, but personally, I drive my car and I do my best to keep it clean but the real reason I go to shows and started trying to make a few this nutty crowd goes to is to enjoy the people. I would be just as happy getting together somewhere where there is no show. I have been to shows where if you car is less than 20 years old, they don't even acknowledge that you exist, that you care about the hobby and your car or the friends you would like to meet.

Like both sides of car shows not just the points.
But you guys are right about the certain shows not liking the new cars we have .

And meet UPS other than the shows are a great idea.
