I think it sounds great. But that is always subjective.

The issue for me was that I only wanted one amp, and one that would fit in the stock location. The 700/5 fits perfectly, so the 12W1v3-2 is matched for the 2 ohm 300watt RMS output of the 700/5. Plus I didn't want to spend too much on the setup, right now the way I did it was quite pricey, I have over $1950 into it without the labor and a new head unit.

If I went with the W6 or W7 the amp would be undersized.

I also matted the trunk knowing the 12W1 would only be fed 300 RMS so the bass is stepped up with the full trunk mat job.

That W7 is HUGE!

Yep, no problem with the bass finding it's way into my head. I actually have to turn the level down from what it can do.

The level knob is a great option to have.

Question for you. Did your amps RCA channels, suddenly started to do turn on/off pops? I had to add a delay to solve that now.

No, my amp doesn't do a turn on pop. A very low turn off pop, if you can call it that.

4 Gauge wire for the amp. It's a small amp. 700 watts. Class D.

I'm using the 4 gauge wires for both my amps. I suspect it could be the RCA cables. It's not that noticeable but it stills annoys the heck out of me.

It's noticeable for sure. Car is quite inside, not Cadillac quite but nice and tight.

I still have to totally cover the metal under the rear seat. That is next.
