It is moderated per se. And I don't want to suggest that all Facebook groups are a lawless red light district, but anybody can start a Facebook group. Let's be honest, there's quite a bit of jive talk on Facebook groups. It really just depends on the subject matter of the group.

I'm curious to know (and I suppose this varies with state and local laws) can you legally go on the street short distances with those tires? (you obviously aren't going to go on the freeway with that kind of tires)... this would be awesome showoff.

Probably not. I'm sure I could ride off in the ditches though. I'd probably want to raise the suspension for hopping culverts though.
