I wish I could make it down there this year, but the schedule is too full with school finishing up...

I hear ya... keep us in mind for next year. You all were fun to have in attendance last year.

As noted, I wanted to take a minute to THANK a few people that had a part in my getting this special car.
First and foremost, Scott Settlemire. Most here know him and know what I mean when I say, I can not think of anyone who has so unselfishly dedicated themselves to all of us and that which involves Camaro. I've known Scott for many years and as a close friend he's a class act through and through, one of the most sincere and respectful people I know.
Next up, The 'Lil Weasel' from Bakerstown (as he's so affectionately known) Tom, of Tom Henry Chevrolet. We always have a blast, making fun but those times 'at the barn' are priceless and worthy of becoming some of our fondest memories. To drive 6+ hours to a dealer to purchase a car says a lot for the service they provide, Thanks to you and all your staff for all you did.
Even from Oshawa, many here of course know Mike Judge. A big shout out to Mike too for the cool stuff he does for all of the Camaro owners out there. Thank You sir! for signing the build sheet on the Spring Edition
John Fitzpatrick, whom many may know has now moved onto the Silverado team, I'd like to thank as well. I first met John in Carlisle and as a 'family' guy, I honestly don't know how he kept (keeps) up with the demands of his job. Thanks for all you've done for the Camaro Team, Silverado surely got a great guy to lead them.
Of course, the Camaro Team, Al, Cheryl, Jim, and many others who are dedicated passionate enthusiast themselves, for the tireless hours and incredible work you do to make these amazing cars available.

Thanks for all you do, and have done, and thanks so much for being part in my getting the First Spring Edition Camaro.

God Bless,

Kevin K

Oh, and of course a big THANKS to 'Happy Dan' for the road trips...

Nice. It's very cool that you got the first one. Who's autograph?

I like your stripe job. I wonder why the OE isn't closer to the top and seats like your color? The OE is MUCH darker than represented on the website as were my gray full length Indy stripes. I got lucky in that the charcoal gray color of my stripes actually fit my color scheme better than a light gray but it's tough when the dealers have no actual color samples of the decals.

What did she dyno?

The autograph is Scott Settlemire. The car was built back in January, but he signed the car while at Tom's getting the work done. As for the stripe not being more 'blue', I'm not totally sure. My only guess is they went with a 'factory MY Camaro color' (Blue Ray Metallic, BRM). BRM is a great color, especially when in the sun, it's awsome. Since I also wanted the stripe over the rear spoiler, I decided to go slightly lighter too. I'm very pleased since it's not real noticeably lighter, yet you can really see that it's a blue stripe.
I didn't have the car dyno'd (yet) so I don't know the exact #'s. My guess would be a 35-40hp increase with the headers, hiflow cats, CAI and tune. I'm fine with that since my intent for this car is to be a nice cruiser with a bit of a rumble. Adding the headers/cats to the dual-mode exhaust, gives one HECK of a sound too

That's exactly what we're looking for, at some point, as well. If you get the chance, or if you're so inclined, I'd like to hear an audio clip of how she sounds.
Congrats on your awesome ride! Aren't we just the luckiest bunch of 'gear heads' to be the owners of THE BEST AMERICAN MUSCLE CARS on earth??

That's exactly what I have scheduled with Mike Norris Motorsports on 5/20. Can't wait.
