Congrats! How the hell did I miss this thread. When you going back to ATCO? Seems you like Tuesdays.

My thoughts are to set a boost level, tune for it and run it that way all the time... Say for example, 9 lbs.... Driving on the street is very easy as long as you keep your foot out of the boost... The car will still accelerate as it did before the turbos for regular driving and just a bit more on the loud pedal will wake things up to the exciting point.... Yes the ProEFI is very expensive but it's a lot less than a motor... I like all of the protections built in.... It processes stuff and will shut the car down faster than I can realize there is a problem, much less react...

If you end up doing the diff bushings and want to quiet the car down, I made my cabin quiet inside with less than 20 bucks and less than adding 5 pounds to the car. I got board insulation from Home Depot and cut it to the shape of the trunk mat. Then I cut it into two pieces to make it easier to get into the trunk. Cut the noise WAY down. I'm going to mount some of it to the back of the seat next and cover it in black material. I will take 8 pounds of weight added back onto the car to remove the drone and rear end noise completely from the cabin.

I'm auto, but when I first had my TT setup, I ran 12.3, with tires and practice I ran 11.3, so there is room for improvement.....I now have all kinda crazy shit, but on the BC question, my tuner (FSP) did a speed density tune and now I can go between 3 different boost settings but touching a button, I think you'll benefit from it....also, you can increase boost if you increase your octane, so run 100 octane and can probably up the boost a few psi, ask your tuner.....

This info is hard to pin down and only applies to lower boost levels (MAF tune?), other wise you may need a more complex tune (speed density) or SD+MAF. I also have been schooled to stay away from manual boost controllers and always go electronic boost control. Now, where to put that 3rd gauge? Use the steering column pod? Am I on the right tack? Once my car is set up the way I want it I will put the info in my build thread.

A certain grey '11 Mustang Auto GT (Pat) added a low boost centrifugal and now is running consistent 11.5s @122-124. So I am going from 4.5 to 9 lbs as my base tune to try and keep up. But trying to keep up with Mustangs is a losing battle, at least with this GT for me and Camaros in general. I will not be back to Atco for a couple of weeks. Atco is closed this week and my car is in the shop the next. I do like Tuesdays, but nights when there are no gamblers I like better. See you there! Maybe Tuesday 5/27.
