If you paid that "dealer profit", you should have your head examined.

The guy who sold me my 1SS says they are getting one in September. Approx. $75,000. Said he'd call me when it arrives and could probably get me $35K for my car in trade.

If you are not going to actually track the car, and I adore and LOVE the new Z/28, it's just not a buy that makes sense for anything everyday.

Now, a garage queen and bragging rights, yeah!

I agree I love the Z28 for what it is. But ill happily drive my 1LE for now, it's the perfect blend of comfort and track performance.

Agree. A little second guessing myself about not going 1LE on my order, but I think the car will be all I can handle as is

Don't do this. The ZL1 is also a supecar, but so much more street friendly. Unless you are going to track the car, or are a collector, a Z/28 makes little sense. Even if you do go to the track, a ZL1 or 1LE makes more sense for most people.

That said, if I won the lottery tomorrow...

If that dealer really thinks he's going to get $105K, he has now moved the car into GT-R territory.

Unlike the Z/28, the GT-R isn't stripped down. Its a full car with all the amenities.

That is a cross shop the camaro is going to lose 9 out of 10 times.
