simply because i wanted a camaro and i wanted it stick...was i supposed to buy it automatic and live the rest of my life wishing i bought stick? when all i have to do is learn real quick and maybe replace my clutch a lil sooner then normal.....and the car doesnt seem to much to control to me...i mean i really havent got on it too bad nor have i taking traction control off.....i drove it from the dealership in new jersey back home to new york...about a 25 miles ride and i hit some traffic...i know how to drive stick, like the idea of it and what to do...i just need practice so i can be better at it...i drove a stick a few times on my friends cars in the passed...the only thing i need to really practice on is taking off on an incline and just get used to driving it

You should have learned on one of your friend's beaters and not make your Camaro the guinea pig. The Camaro hiatus between 2002-2010 served me well as I learned stick on a Honda Civic, bought my Cobalt SS/SC with 5M, and by that time, driving the new Camaro was easy. Goodluck with it nonetheless and try not to drive it out of your comfort zone to show off. Most accidents happen close to home. Proven statistic. You want to showboat, find the Garden State Parkway at night and blast off. Just becareful.

lol thx and funny you said that cuz the only accident i ever had was on my corner and i grinded my gears showing off to my friend after i accidently discovered how to chirp them shifting into second...only time i grinded the gears so far and i couldnt stop thinking about it that whole day/night...shit i still think about it now and im making sure it dont happen again...what happen was i came off the clutch b4 the gear was full engaged...but shit happens...learn from your mistakes and move on i guess

and about learning on a friends car...i did on my friends honda civic a matter of fact...also drove his old ass volvo turbo and his father mini cooper supercharged...havent driven one for like 3-4 years ago until now though...so yea i know how its done and what to do, i just need practice

FIgures, I get caught in the BS Money Traps the NYPD sets up, and you get off for going 80 in a 30. I actually got a ticket only 8 months ago for going 62 on the upper part of the West Side Hwy (above the GW Bridge). They lowered the speed limit to 35MPH when that stone wall collapsed because they reduced it to two lanes. Image 35 on a HWY. SO here I am in RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC 5:30PM heading home in my Honda CR-V Work Truck, and the guy literally picks me out of a crowd, because I left a bit of room in front of me, so he hit the front of my car with the laser.

See what happens when you follow the speed of traffic and do not ride ass. So I gave it to a lawyer who said she is 85% likely to get it killed (She is an ex-DA and knows everyone at the court). Long Story short, now I Ride ass so there is no room to hit the front of my car with a laser.

I learned to drive manual a while back...but I learned on a fiero when I was like 12 ROFLOL...a new sportscar might not be the best situation but I like the fact that you were willing to stick your neck out a little and get what you wanted...props!

I traded in my last manual car (mustang) about 3 years ago so i'm rusty and borrowed my brothers 68 couger to touch up a bit...took me about 30 seconds, just like riding a bike! The couger does have one of those old school shifters and completely burns on on each of its 4 gears LOL

i wasnt on a side street...the street is really wide...like each side(lane) is like 3 cars wide and 1 side of the street is woods and cars cant/dont park on that side...sooo there is no intersections...so even if some1 blew one of the stop signs making a turn at the top of one of the blocks onto this road there is plenty of room to go around...trust me it isnt a bad spot...when i first got my 300zx i was up there at night doing donuts
