That looks awesome! I may have to consider that. I think AGM would also look great in the matte finish. Anyone have any experience in putting the xpel over the oracle ghosted side markers? Just wondering if the lights would shine bright enough through the matte xpel.

I'm waiting for someone with a white Z/28 to put a matte finish wrap on it to look like the prototype. Great looking car, Dynamite.

Getting a clear bra was one of the best move's I made. I got the full hood, front bumper, full side panels and mirrors. It cost $1250 to install and I am completely satisfied!

This might be a little off topic but how does a water-less wash work? Doesn't that drag the dirt around and swirl up the paint of the car?

It's used for a clean already clean car. It has a silicone type stuff to let the dirt slide off. I would not use it on a real dirty car. I have never washed my ZL1 for 17 months now, I just use the speed shine and wax.

Am I missing something on spending 2-3k on something to protect paint? I mean, for that price you could just get the whole car re-sprayed....

Not a quality job. A true quality paint job, one that will look as good and last as long as the factory paint job will run you all of 7K. If not more!

Maybe Maaco will do it for 2k.

Advantage is that it doesn't chip at all and if scuffed will self heal.

Quality bodywork is expensive. i recent piad just under $2k to have one rear quarter panel repainted by a high end shop to remove a deep 3" long scratch. I professional wouldn't be a le to tell it had been touched.

In my user profile the are pictures of a Bandit Trans Am I restored. It cost $16k to hang the front panels, paint and apply decals I supplied.

Worth every penny if you ask me. It can't scratch unless you really try to scratch it! And the look you get is amazing. I get stopped and asked about it constantly.

Here is what the stealth film looks like on a black car.

Wow that looks awesome. Nice choice on the stealth over the ultimate
