2) I love the hill start assist and had never driven a car with that before. Very convenient!
3) I didn't think I would like the microsuede seat inserts, but I was wrong. Its a bit more comfortable than the leather on my back. It also adds a touch of class to the dashboard.
4) With the low front clearance, I will start backing into parking spaces where possible.
5) I had forgotten how much I missed a manual transmission. This one is fairly stiff, but easy to get used to.
6) I got a steady 18.5 mpg on the long highway drive back from the dealership, but it quickly slipped down to around 16 around town.
7) I got stuck in a VERY intense rainstorm coming back from the dealer, but not a drop of water got inside.
8) The black wheels take some time to clean because of the numerous spokes and ridge behind them, but they look amazing when you are done!
9) Turning the ignition makes me smile 100% of the time.

Have to disagree with you on #2. I think it's the worse feature of the 2013+ manual trans Camaro. I curse every time it kicks in.

Be happy you're getting 16 mpg around town. My vert averages in the low 14s.

Otherwise I'm in 100% agreement with the rest of your observations.

Congrats on the new ride. Top down driving with all that power under the hood is a real blast.

Thanks everyone! I'm having a ball with the car....

Today's update is a clear bra from Night Shades. So glad to have it protected and as usual, those guys hit it out of the park! Awesome work!

Thanks Colin!

Vert

Congrats on your vert! Your clear bra was the best mod you can do hands down! Now you can start all the other mods if thats the way you want to go. I think I'm finally done with all my mods, everything is just perfect. It's so much fun taking a drive with the top down and enjoying the sunshine! It's been perfect weather after the winter we had this year. Enjoy your car and have lots of fun!!

They are quite hard to find, especially one with good paint and no other issues. C5 member SSTG helped me find it. During my own search, I found around 10-15 '13 verts, but none that met my needs.

I really wanted another IOM and waffled about getting a M6. It was the right move for me, but I would've loved an automatic just as much.

Thanks, Bill. I'm a huge "clear bra fan" on these Camaros. As you know, there's a ton of vertical real estate on the front and it tends to catch lots of rocks, bugs and other debris. Now I wll feel protected. The only other mod I plan for now is an Opticoat treatment so the remainder of the paint will be better protected. Otherwise, I like the car as is and don't want to rush into any changes.
