Been thinking about this. It's always been my understanding that you should use the smallest supercharger available to achieve your desired boost level as it will be a lot more responsive and require less hp to drive. I forget where I read that but it makes sense.

So I would think that technically if you ran a 1900 and a 2300 at the same boost levels, the final numbers at 6500RPM are going to look very similar, but the 1900 should hit harder down low. At least this makes sense to me.... and according to that dyno, it's hitting freaking hard down low!

Care to clarify this a bit and let us know what psi it was running. Because as far as I'm concerned if your looking for 550 - 600 RWHP and that's it... the 1900 should be an easy choice between the two. Maybe the 2300 shines more when you go past that point?

I've seen cammed 2300's put down 570RWHP on 5psi, if this is close to 5psi as well then we have a winner!

I'm also gonna take a stab that it was running 93 octane? What do you think the numbers would be like on 91?

Thank you all for your interest and posts. The MTI Racing Test Camaro runs on 93 octane fuel and should have no hp change running on 91 octane. The supercharger is running at 8 psi. Our standard dyno graph is only off by 1-2 hp from SAE. We have tested this numerous times with another dyno down the street, so we are confident that our dyno is reading accurate.

The MTI Racing Magnacharger kit is $8995 installed or $7495 shipped.
$16,495 installed for the complete build up listed above on the MTI Racing Test Camaro.

For pictures and videos of the supercharger kit check out www.mtiracing.com

Cool,

So what is the difference between the standard 2300 kit and the 1900 kit?

Thanks for getting back to us.

That question is really impossible to answer as it depends more on the person who owns the car then it does the parts on the car.
