i NEVER see zl1's out on the road. I think i maybe saw 2 in the past 3 years, and my eyes like to wander off to oncoming traffic so i see every single car that goes by. The vettes are super nice but they are becoming more common. I would keep the zl1, especially if its a 2014!

They are two completely different cars, one is a muscle car, and the other is a sports car. All it boils down to is preference would you rather have a precision machine or something that you can hoon around in and be loud.

ha ha. bring any new car into my shop under the flouresnt lights and I can just pick it apart for orange peel. My zl1, dart, ram inclued.

I will have look. my z06 was silver but it was there. My buddies black 06 was bad in the wrong light.

I will have to look closer at them in preson to see if it is any worse.

robotic paint + no sanding=orange peel.

Factory orange peel doesnt really bother me as much as the debris in the paint. They need to put it on way heavier around the gills for sure though.

I don't believe the fiberglass lends itself to the depth and shine of metal. But, "if" I could only have one, I'd have to get the ZL1. The C7 is just a bit cramped IMHO. Not sure I would like living with it every day, while the Camaro is very spacious.

When the C7 Z06 arrives, with 650HP, but for $99K, it will certainly be a "bucket list" type car, but from 1/4 mile away will look like just another Vette. The current G5 Camaro certainly has delivered on the "muscle" appeal. Probably looked back upon in 50 years as once in a generation design.
