i use rain x with a microfiber towel and it works pretty good, the spots might be cause of hard water. i have that same problem, it sucks.

Invisible glass works very well with newspaper. Newspaper must be non-colored. I had to purchase Zaino window polish to clean the exterior glass due to water spots. It works wonders. They were on the car when I got it. I can tell you this, the inside of the windshield and back windows are a real b*tch around the bottom.

It is wierd but yes crumpled newspaper works the best on windows. I had some windows that would smear on my old car that I tried everything to get them clean. It wasn't until I used the newspaper that did the trick.

Apparently the ink in the paper does something to polish the windows.

Stoners Invisible Glass is AMAZING. Used to use Windex, not anymore. I used it on our patio sliding glass door and my husband walked right into it thinking I left it open. It's that good.

I use just any window cleaner I usually go over the window 2-3 times (if the window is that dirty) with a different cloth each time. The first time, I saturate the window pretty well and use the first cloth and wipe it really good. The second time I use much much less cleaner and use a new cloth and finish it off. Then I'll go back with a completely dry microfiber and remove any smudges left behind.

Kind of long, but that's what works for me.

Shoot...I've had a can of that invisible stuff in my garage for like...two years now. My buddy brought it over once to help clean my windows. don't think we ever got around to it...and it's still sitting there. I'm going to have to go and give it a shot.

Any ideas??
First, switch to 'Stoners Invisible Glass' and also try newspapers in addition to paper towels.

Second, try a polish, or even a clay bar, to clean/remove water spots from glass.

That should take care of your windows.

Does newspaper damage tint? I use a microfiber cloth and generic auto glass cleaner now, but the combination is leaving streaks.
