As opposed to what? Turning on the lights and making a stop just to give you a compliment? Is any "normal" person on a power trip too if they do the same action to say you have a nice ride?

Seriously if someone driving next to you (not leo) tells you to roll your window, would you do it? I wouldn't and I bet 85% of people wouldn't... so there is still use of influence

Actually I do. You can tell pretty quickly when someone just wants to ask a question about your car or give a compliment. Had it happen twice today.

I ask others to roll their windows down too often. I normally inform them a break light is out - to their third light is only working.

I would. He may want to tell me my muffler's about to fall off or my tires about to blow, tail light out, etc.

Generally speaking, the world is NOT out to get you.

It's nothing any different than the citizens in their cars doing the same thing to you, which they occasionally do.

I don't like cops abusing their power either, but what are you gonna do? I've tried all different methods of dealing with cops in my life. I have found what works best is to do what it takes to get them outta your life ASAP.

There's the "damned if they do, damned if they don't" attitude, folks... This attitude is what makes America a sh**tier place.

Happen to get their names?... One of our lieutenants has a 2012 Camaro that's orange, dispatcher has a 2012 black camaro and I have mine of course. I think there is only one mustang that I have seen in the department, lots of jeeps, trucks, cruzes etc..

Gilbert is a quiet place, ranked number one for lowest crime for its size in the nation. How that's obtained, some people don't like and really hate, but you don't see anyone complaining either about the low crime rates, so take your pick.

Tough love! I applaud the Gilbert PD for keeping the town safe - it's what they're supposed to do. Thanks, man.

It was 2 miles over the speed limit, it's not like I was going 10 over. They're people, if you're not doing anything wrong then you don't really pay attention to them.

From the awakening call I got from that last officer that pulled me over, I view officers as I view normal people driving.
