My 60k investment went in for the SC replacement. Work on it extended a second day. They needed to drop the motor to get access to the back of the SC. Became nauseated when I saw my car disassembled. Is this the case for everyone getting a new SC??

You are about 520+ units in, so who knows? Maybe you received the solid isolator and won't have to worry about this.

Thanks for letting us know.

They did not have to drop the motor in mine when I got it done. Weird they did yours......
Easy install and took him 6-7 hours from start to finish he told me. I was lucky to have the only guy who touches Camaros and corvettes as my tec and he is a super great guy.
Noises all gone and completely back to normal.

Can you please let me know if my supercharger is part of the recall ? there has been no info about early 2014 ZL1 . Do they have the upgraded supercharger or not?
Please let me know . Thank you
Good afternoon,

Thanks for your messaage. After researching your VIN, I am pleased to let you know that there are no open recalls or service actions listed for your 2014 ZL1. We do not have any information on the 2014s being affected by any supercharger issues.

Chevrolet Customer Care
Regardless of the supercharger recall status of the 2014's how can customer service say there are no open recalls when ALL 2010 and newer Camaros are recalled for the ignition key fob issue??

They say it because they can say it. Translation: they think we are stupid enough to believe what they say just because they said it.
