Right! This isn't about you, the OP has bought and is about to install high flow cats. So my response was for him. I live in California, so for me it would not be cost effective for me to have to install and remove LT's and cats every time smog test comes around.

thanks for all the response. I really appreciate it. Just for those who say long tubes are the way to go, I agree 100% Im just not ready for a tune yet, still only at 5k miles and im not ready to void my power-train yet, When I am im going to do a custom twin turbo setup here locally with a performance shop so headers will be pointless since we are going to custom fab something. Thanks again all

Dude if you just don't have a lift or an extra set of hands to help you out, let me know. If you want, I'll help you out. Drop me a pm if you don't mind bringing your car out to the base.

Very little difference. You definitely won't notice it power wise.
Sorry but youre are wrong. They are a proven 15-20rwhp and you will feel it big time. Biggest performance gain I had in my LS3 Camaro that I could really feel.

This exhaust shop is stupid and has no clue. I wish someone would tell me that, I'd laugh in his face.

But I installed them myself so not gonna happen. I run headers now.

You dont ''need'' a tune with headers. From what I read (from very knowlegeable plp on this site), LS3 stock tune are plenty rich and can run no problem on the stock tune. A tuned car is always better though.

Good luck.

Never did it without long tubes myself so I guess I don't have a clue. Give it a try and report back. I'd be surprised to see a 20 hp gain without a tune. Anything less is not noticeable IMO.

This....find another shop. Or do it yourself.
