I just realized the OP has a '14?

I can then agree with this, but I won't for the 13's.

On the '13, adding any kind of side rocker, means you need to spend more $$$ to replace the rear valence with a ZL1 item to match the side rockers. Not sure how this works with the '14, as I have never followed up.

The original 1LE concept had the front stripes, ZL1 style side rockers but nothing in the rear if I recall correctly. Didn't look good at all, but that's my opinion.

I conducted a local poll using Sledge as the example, whether to do the side rocker thing or keep it naked, and somewhat surprisingly, the naked look won. Who knows, maybe the results would have been different if it wasn't black and didn't have the quad NPP rear valance?

Just sayin'

Too much $$$, and not much in returns.

How I rationalized this.

-The head turning factor will not change at all with the ZL1 rockers IMHO.

-Are you gaining HP on the dyno, improving your 1/4 mile times, and trap speed with the ported TB? I say nope.

I'm all ears.
I disagree with the head turning comment. Yes mine turned heads before, but with the ZL1 rockers...the car just looks complete and really stands out more. I won the Mod 2010-14 class at Camaro Supetfest this year and the rockers are one of the major game changers!

Between TB and rockers...I say rockers first just because I like appearance mods for show. I have CAI w/scoop now and will do ported TB this winter while it sits in my shop. Headers after that.

I agree, but you missed the part I wrote about '13 vs '14.
I can agree with you on the '14 application, but not the '13 1LE one.
The poll I conducted involved about 15 "none camaro" people but car people nonetheless, and the naked look won by a landslide on my black '13 application. The reasoning: made it look sleeker, not as square, and more old school looking. Very 1LE.

Nice ride btw

Note: the poll I conducted involved adding side rockers with clamps on, then taking pics.

I might conduct this poll with associated pics on here as well in an other thread.

Ya, your 13 vs 14 comment was down a few from what I quoted and I had not read down that far yet. The original post was about a 14 and that is what I was responding to. On a 14 they complete the car due to the splitter and defuser wrapping to the wheel wells.

I have neither but I might go PTB if it does indeed improve throttle response.

Of topic, Love the hash marks on your SIM, looks bad ass. Might have to get a set for my SIM 1SS
And I had a '95 Z28 for 14 years
