Doing all highway with no traffic on a road trip I got 27.5 in my SS stock, but under normal driving to work in all city post mods it's pretty awful at around 13 lol. That's the worst it gets and is mostly idling.

1400 miles in a week?! Is that going to be the norm for you or are you just loving the new car?
I've been driving a V8 for a DD the last 15 years and the 17 mpg I'm getting in my SS (L99) is the best I've had in a loooong time. I admit that is decreasing the longer I have the car (I'm just around 4100K miles). MPG has never crossed my mind when buying a vehicle for myself. We buy the SS for the power, just keep reminding yourself that every time your at the pump?? |

What? Nobody's crying about "I didn't buy an ss for mpg"? I'm very surprised...OP I don't drive near as much as you, but you will eventually get used to it...it'll work it's way in your budget one way or another...

I get about 24mpg on the interstate at 75, about 26mpg cruising highways at 55
My lifetime average over 37,000 miles is 18.2. Mine's a stick, FWIW

Car has 32067 miles according to Remotelink and lifetime 19MPG. |

According to the OnStar Remote Link after 7064 miles my lifetime average is 16 mpg, mostly around small New England town. The last 1000 miles with 3.91 gears. I always use Premium. I do put my foot into it frequently :-) Had to replace my Nitto NT05's after 6000 miles.

Check how many miles you drive per week Compared to when you had the Oder car Yes , some guys claimed those numbers I can also make 45 +/G ,AND can even take a picture to show that , but that's not what happening Just hit the gas on the freeway , click the clear average switch , let it roll and snap a shot off the numbers showing They are just joking or seeing things that does not exist. |
