Ive been thinking of picking up a SLP Blackwing CAI and a Tune such as this one, what kinda HP gain would i get from that, if any.

If this was in the ss the outcome would have been worse as our cars are pigs. They have a gearing and weight advantage as well as low end torque.

I prefer the ss bc of the interior and exterior styling over the coyote as well as that cammed sound when cammed.

Back to the topic though op, If you catch a crappy or not experienced driver in a 5.0 it could go in your favor (stock for stock). Both are damn good performers but the coyote has the upper edge.

Mod for mod = who has the deepest pockets will determine who is faster!

Our Camaro's are only like 300lbs heavier than the Mustang's and stock for stock doesnt the SS have more low end torque than the 5.0?

A Ford master tech on modded mustangs ran his cammed bama tune for over 30k miles zero problems.

I mean Lund states it will get the benefits from race tunes with the lope. It's different now than before. Before the lope tunes added no hp.

Yes and you can use it now with auto trans but you need to have your cats deleted or the raw gas will ruin them.

To address the 5.0 vs LS3 camaro debate, in my experience, unfortunately the 5.0 has the upper edge. Stock for stock and mod for mod. The motors are damn near equal but the close to 300lbs weight difference just kills the SS.

With that said, it is not impossible to beat a 5.0 in an SS it just takes a little extra skill and car IQ.

Also, having a "cammed tune" has absolutely no performance benefits over a regular performance tune. It is about as silly as the guy that puts on fake badges on his ride, just plain false advertising. Lol...

I am aware of that ford master tech on modded mustangs, I've seen you there too. My point is you get the same from having 93 tune or having the cammed tune it does nothing else, but cost you an extra 100 bucks. The fact that he ran it as a dd probably wasn't running it at the track with it. He's also the only one that seems to say bama wasn't crap. Just out of curiosity do you guys ever have anything constructive on this forum lol. I only see you guys post on any 5.0 thread chiming in on how it's faster.

Agreed. They're both great cars and both have their positives. In my opinion when it come to NA LS is the way to go.FI 5.0 only because you can get a centri for like 5 Gs I haven't seen one that low for the camaro.

Yeah he is not that away anymore lol. He is tuned through hypermotive now. And OP asked for the truth lol. If this was 4 yrs ago and op asked ls2 GTO vs 3v stang. You could not of drug me out of my GTO for a slow ass mustang And this is constructive keeping the facts real here
