The clear coat will need a flattening agent added to it to reduce the gloss to 40%.
Murse said the code was 8555 40. That on google pulls up nothing. Yes 8555 is black, same on my 13 silverado. The the paint is 8555 with a flat clear coat to make it look satin then? Am I understanding this correctly? Thanks.

The clear is a full gloss but with flattening agent added to it. The mixing instructions will tell you how much to add to reduce gloss to 40%.

Since we're talking about the splitter can someone snap a pic under their splitter. There are 6 circular holes. I need to know what kind of fastener is in there that attaches the splitter to the bumper. The dealer didn't install them after they painted my splitter among other things. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone painted anything using the paint code listed? I am about to get a new hood and wanted to paint it the color of the 1LE spoiler.

It seems the 2014 1Le front splitter is different then the 2013. I have a 2013 and it is duller then the 2014's that I have seen. If so can my 2013 be painted to match.
My spoiler on my 2013 looks more like the 2014 spoiler and 2014 splitter color. I would like if for my splitter.
