Thanks for the message! Actually we loved the dealership and the salesman that sold us the car! As I am big on giving feedback if I feel I've been treated fairly. I went on and gave them a great rating. I really hope it doesn't come to having to get an attorney. Even though we've tossed this idea around. I read your article on your Camaro. Very good by the way! And congrats on your car. I like you felt that this was a great car for us. My husband and I both love the car! Or should I say Loved the car! But as I've said this also was a dream to own it! We are in our 40's and have waited for the right time to own one. What a disappointment to have all this issues! I'll give updates as things occur. So frustrating to be dealing with all this! At least my husband has a great video of all this happening the last time it was acting crazy and we've kept great records of all the details if we need to go further!

I agree with the flood car comments.

Guess I'll be the only one to go this route...but last time a Camaro was documented with similar issues, it turned out to be a transformer. Just sayin...

sounds like a ground issue or something like that I had close to the same thing happen it showed no communication with my ecm and it was just a ground wire on the block to the body

Soooooo...I'm a new camaro owner. Bought a 2011 camaro convertible about 6 weeks ago. My dream car! I thought??? After two weeks of pure bliss.. It starts!!

1. Start car.. Didn't want to turn over. Then a loud pop. Then service stabili trak light comes on.
2. Driving to work same morning reduce engine power! And service engine light. Before we can get it to dealer we stop by autozone to read code. Can't remember code # but it said bad ECM. Before we could get it to dealer light went off. They couldn't help us with no codes!
3. A week later I crank car to go to work. Display telling me crazy stuff. Roll driver window down then up. Then roll passenger window down then up. Then rear window down then up. So I did it and all seemed ok. 20 minutes later I get to work pull in parking lot all lights on dash again and service stabili trak and car goes dead! Won't crank! Call wrecker have towed to dealer. They said all the codes were saying low voltage. They said we need new battery. So $300 later and we think we're good to go.
4. A day later we take a weekend trip. Car acts fine on the 200 mile drive. We valet park the car and think all is good. Next day valet brings car to us. Immediate we notice the A/C not working. Drive on down the road and it starts again. Light all over the dash and service stabili trak. Barely make it to restaurant car seem to be idling rough and about to die. We stop the car. Shut it off. Open the door. Close the door and windows are acting crazy. Trying to roll it self up but can't. As convertibles do drop and raise windows when doors open and close. Crank the car.. Seems to be ok for now. Try to find dealer open on Sat. With no luck. Decide we are going to cut our trip short and try to get home on a Sat. Maybe better luck to get a wrecker on a Sat.
4. Same day trying to home. Didn't make it far maybe 15 miles. And here we go again.
1- lights start flashing all over dash.
2- door locks on car going crazy!
3- car down shifts on it own..sends RPMs close to red lines and LOCKS UP BACK BRAKES GOING 65 ON THE INTERSTATE!!!!!!! If someone had been behind us. We could have been really hurt!!!! We were not in a safe place to stop so we try to go a little further thinking maybe we could get it to a dealer. Wrong!! Just a little further. And all lights flashing car still going crazy. Time to call a wrecker. 1 hour on the side of the road. A ride in the wrecker to the nearest dealer. 200 miles from home. Can't find a rental car. Have to take a taxi to a hotel. Stay the night. At that time we get in touch Chevrolet concierge and they work out details of rental for the next and pay for our hotel stay. Well at least we had that even if we were stranded!!!!!
5. Car at dealership 200 miles away for a week. Never messes up. No codes of course so nothing they can do. So we have to get it. Which means we have an 8 hour day trying to get the car home!! I was not happy about driving an unsafe car!! We felt sure it was going to happen again!!! My husband drove it. I followed him not to close in case it decided to go crazy again. A very stressful ride to say the least.
6. Same day driving home made it about 3 hours and here we go again!!
1. Starts with door locks going crazy!!
2. Slowing down because it going to happen.. Car down shifts again on its own RPMs going high again but car seems to be in neutral again and is slowing losing power. On a two lane road. Flashers on looking for a spot to get off the road. Car finally dies on its own. Takes a bit to get it to crank again. Finally we try to go on..we about 45 min. from home. Car seems to be doing ok. But seems to have reduced power. And now the A/C is not working again!!!
3. Made it to AutoZone as no dealers are open.
Error codes...1. P2105 TAC control module.
2. P025A fuel pump control / faulty ECM or FPCM
3. P069E FPCM
4. Just made it to dealer with car. Flashing all light and service stabili trak on.

Soooo I know this is a long post and I know I'm new to here but to say the least I'm quite upset!! My car is back at the dealer for the third time in two weeks and I haven't had the car but 6 weeks!! And of course the dealer won't be able to look at it until Mon. So back to one car!!! So frustrating!!! Love the car when it's working but who wants a car that is scary to drive!! Not me!

Any advice from anyone? I'm so sad! Who wants a cool car to drive if your just wondering when your going to be stranded next. I'll give updates. As soon as the dealer looks at it. Let's hope the service engine light is still on! Thanks everyone who takes the time to read.
My sincere apologies to read of your displeasing vehicle concerns. We definitely want you to feel safe in your Camaro! Although you're seeking thoughts and opinions, I'd be happy to communicate your sentiments with the Customer Experience Managers (CEM) at the GM dealer of your choice. Please know that you're welcome to message us privately if you'd like to proceed (with the above), or discuss this situation further.

Update- tech says it's fixed!

Wanted to update to maybe help someone that may have the same issue we did.
Assuming it's truly fixed!!

Tech said that error codes still indicated low voltage. Error codes made him check voltage readings on the TRANS. control module and the ECM. The voltage readings ranged from 11-14 voltes. He said this wasn't normal. Starting with fuse block under the hood. With the car running he started checking fuses, modules and wires. While doing so the car went dead. This led him to find the nut was loose that was holding the power wire feeding the main fuse block. Hard to believe that was all it was making the car go so crazy!! So with all that said we hope that it's really fixed. All error codes cleared and readings are normal. Even though we were out $300 for the battery we didn't need we really hope it truly is fixed!!! Going almost 3 weeks without a car is a horrible inconvience!!!
