Disagree. Not only is it a cleaner look but no water gets stuck in the lettering. You ever wash and detail your car then after a drive you see the drip marks from the letters? You can combat it somewhat w/ a leaf blower, but I'd rather remove the badging once and never need worry about it instead of blow drying my car every time I wash it.

I was never "ashamed" of my car, I was proud of it and I didn't care if a non car enthusiast knew what it was. C'mon, you'd have to be really out of it to not be able to identify a 5th gen without the badging.

I agree I love this site because of all the info people give each other. I removed my side emblems and replaced it with the old '60s script emblem

I agree with the Camaro block lettering on the sides. Didnt like it one bit so I took them off. It looks so much cleaner and classier.

As for the Bow-ties (both front and back), I personally feel the 14 needs them to complete the look. I left mine on but swapped the gold inserts for black ones instead. Looks great with my Black-on-Summit-White theme!

Edit: Which reminds me, I need to update my avatar with her updated looks: black wheels, black hood spears and rear quarter spears, black gills, and black Le Mans hash marks...

OP, nice clean look!

When my Xpel was done they removed the 'CAMARO' badges so a complete piece of film would be layed, not cut out around the lettering. They were left off in case any redo had to be done. I never went back to get them put on, I actually like the clean sides of the car. I blacked out my bowties with #D carbon fiber. Love it!

Looks good man, I always loved debagged cars. Especially the sleepers.

I removed the Camaro emblems from the sides as well almost as soon as I got the car home. I hate the big gold bowties, so I replaced mine with black powder-coated ones that blend in with my car a little better.

If there was an easy way to cleanly remove the front bowtie on a 2014 I would have gone that route instead.
Agreed with the gold bowties. I think i debadged my ss and went with black bowties within the first month. So much better on a black car.

Love the front and rear bowties in black.

Hate the side CAMARO lettering. Looks so tacky.

My opinion!

Looks good. I can see the appeal even if I feel it looks a tad naked.

I, like pretty much everyone seems to have done, recolored my bow ties to red inserts (plasti dip is awesome) and then dipped the side camaro lettering red also.
