Good luck & keep us posted. BTW pull that nasty felt insulating blanket off your engine while you have it apart! I am so glad mine is off.

IIRC the tuning for the cams went well but when he installed new heads he started to develop problems. Can't wait to hear your car running!

Just noticed that's mustang dyno... That's probably why the original number seem "low"... Curious to see what you end up with though.

Definitely use the same dyno, so you can get a more accurate representation of the gains you got with the new chains and the cams.

How is the progress going?

This is shaping up to be pretty cool...I hope it all works out for you.

I've been following the progression of cams for the V6 since it all began years ago. It began with Yellow_Glide trying out cams in his LLT which started off good, but went bad and eventually because of tuning (lack there of) and mechanical issues just died off.

Then it progressed to LFX, which never quite worked out...not necessarily due to lack of tuning, but because the cams weren't quite to spec.

At that time, MACE claimed the newest grinds for the LLT were good, but not he LFX apparently.

Now we are back to the LLT cams, and HOPEFULLY the tuning can make the cams work good.
