HUD....

Sure wish I could move it laterally - not just up and down.....

Just me?

That would be cool, but it is really cool the way it is.

It would be cool if older cars could update to the color one like would it be that hard?

I think it's fine the way it is, besides, the cutout in the dash would then have to be how much bigger?

I looked for lateral adjustment on ours also. I am used to it now though.

I took a GM survey the other day about HUDs being offered in future cars. They were asking a lot about full screen HUDs which identify things like pedestrians, road signs, conditions, etc.

That would be awesome. Honestly, as I look at the current HUD, I wonder if it would be possible to use a different type of projection system...maybe a laser system to minimize the amount of dash space necessary. I dunno a lot about these systems so many a laser system would be impossible....just seems like it'd work. That'd give a greater ability to use more of the windshield.

Love my monochrome HUD on my '13 with sunglasses on.

I suppose the tachometer would be more functional if it was larger and coloured with the appropriate redline.

I usually just keep the speed display on and nothing else. It has saved me from getting in trouble, in conjunction with warning chime.

Some of this is just silly.
Very true.

One cool feature they displayed was a nightvision enhancement that uses infrared I believe to highlight things that you normally wouldn't be able to see very well. That could be sweet at night.
