I have yet to gather any oil in my catch can as of yet, since I put so few miles on my Camaro (maybe 150 miles since I bought it 4 or 5 months ago?).

One day at the track and I have more than that. Maybe it's my driving habits though.

Looks about right to me. The harder you drive, the more you'll catch and some engines have looser tolerances and will catch more than others in general.

Best regards,

Nothing to worry about seems fine to me for the aggressive driving you stated.

holy catch can

Can somebody tell me whats the little black plastic can looking thing thats plugs into the air intake tube just in front of the SC. the plastic lines running from each valvle cover from the pvc's run into this catch can looking thing. Is this GM's style of a catch can.. just curious about all this catch can technology.

That's GM's clean side separator, which does not do do anything for the real problem; the dirty side. They are only supposed to be used on track and removed during cooler weather.

The only time you'll get reverse flow through the clean side is at WOT.

I suggest addressing the dirty side with an Elite can. You'll thank yourself later.

Best regards,

Tyler
