These numbers are all impressive and clearly there's a lot more headroom on these cars for "average-joe" improvements to the performance than most would expect. I definitely am looking for "seat of the pants" torque.

The more I read through these Dyno threads, the more I learn... Thanks to all the tuners on Camaro5 for sharing...
I just found my "Dyno-Guy" less than 2 miles from my house. It was a little unnerving walking into his garage with no less than seven 'Stangs all lying around in various stages of MODS. When I asked the guy if he'd be interested in working on my 2010 SS, he perked up pretty quick... I'll be sure to mention all the tweaks I've read about from all of the good people working up the best possible setups on our Camaro's

Very cool. You plan on doing this with other vendors' headers (perhaps similar to the CAI thread) or was this because you had made the decision to go with these headers?

While I have your attention, if it's not too noobish, can you comment on the fundamental difference in long tube vs short tube headers (besides the length) and what should be considered when making the decision?

I would like to put together a Header shoot out, but it is not as easy as a CAI test.

The Customer had chose the Headers in this case, We were impressed with the fit and finish as well as the performance.

In my Experience a Shorty Header is only Marginally better than the manifold and sometimes not worth the money for the minimal gain if any.

A long tube header promotes air flow through the engine by Scavaging the old burned mixture from the cylinder more effectively.

Kind Of like having a Vacuum on each exhaust port when the valve opens.

Ted.

Good test and consistent, we find the same with most short tubes, not really worth the money, long tubes seem to work much better in every case we have tested. Good JOB
