But a 2015 Z/28 is at the Ring now! If Chevy runs faster, I see them staying silent until after Ford announces the GT350. Keep Ford guessing and steal their thunder.

The new "track" version mustang should by all means beat the z28. It will be lighter, newer and probably have more power. They may not release the ring times but bet ur azz the mags will test them as soon as possible. After seeing how they answered the call when chevy dropped the zl1 I have no question in my mind they won't do the same against the z28. Besides only dodge builds newer cars to not he any faster then the old ones. (Viper vs Vette)

Correct me if I'm mistaken but the only released ring time for the FGT was done by a writer for Octane Magazine (never heard of it myself) and not done and/or released by Ford.

As for the Foci, the only recorded time listed BY Ford was for the UK only Focus RS. That test having neen done by the in house tuners TeamRS, their SVT.

Why do they cover the test cars in such a weird looking wrap/cover thing? it's not like we can't see the car with the wrap on it.. why not just put a regular paint job on it?

It's supposed to make it so we can't see angles and lines of the car.

The pattern is supposed to interfere with the lens of the camera, thus making it incapable of picking up the fine details.

Bumping this because I saw a tweet from jalopnik that was a picture of a spot of the new GT350 and the date on it was 11/17/14. Looks like we will see soon what it is!
