kville mine looks just like yours in pic. i had sprayed the filter earlier before i installed it and somehow the oil got on inside lip of filter flange. couldnt really see it but when i cleaned it off you could tell a big difference when it went on. also my clamp keeps going into box a lil like yours but i dont know why.

aps ss . I'm thinking about just taking it all apart or un-clamping the tube itself and re-adjusting the tube.(installed mine at late evening/night also with flashlights lol) and re-installing it all. My cousin who is on here and has one doesn't have this issue nor does my friend. He suggested moving the clamp so that the screw is almost in line with the air sensor. that's how he has his and he doesn't have the issue we are.

it could be as simple as just something isn't lining up right. I think it is either how i have it lined up with the throttle body or how my box is lined up. I will report back in the morning and let you know if I fixed the issue. I'm going to clean the inside of the filter lip as well to make sure all the oil residue is off of it.
