What truck felt mat did you get? Lloyd mats makes one with the Z/28 logo. I'll be ordering one this weekend and with their front floor mats.

I read somewhere that all that is needed is the camera itself, that the rear bumper wiring harness has provisions for it, and once everything is plugged in it works with the MyLink? Is this a Z/28 thing or any MyLink application. I have a 2014 1SS 1LE,

Got the tow hook receiver and rock guards from Skylane765 (thanks for the great cs and quick ship).

Also thanks to Zslash28 for posting pics of the rock guards cause those convinced me to buy them.

Glad I could help. I have noticed a significant drop in the sound of debris hitting the side of the car. I'd say the rock guards are money well spent.

I also just ordered up the Lloyd's trunk mat with the Z/28 logo. I'm looking forward to knowing it's in the trunk since no one will see it.

I upgraded the lows to phillips which made it much better. Can you provide the part numbers for the LED bulbs?

Finally got around to installing the rock guards ... I didn't want to use the self tapping screw and drill a new hole in my bodywork so I used the existing bottom screw and taped a 1/2 inch slither of automotive 3M tape from top to bottom. Sorry about the crappy pic but you guys know what rock guards look like.

----------------------------

I also went to install the front tow hook receiver but I didn't realize it was a whole rigamarole involving drilling through the metal bumper under the cover. That's above my pay grade so I'm gonna take it to a body shop to have it done. Does anyone know if the whole front bumper cover assy needs to be removed to do the instal or can it be done with it on?

^ That looks real nice!

Did you use a tinted film kit or did you have everything professionally tinted?

I did it myself..except the window tint. The tail lights are covers, the side markers are aftermarket, the 3rd brake light I painted with black & clear and emblem was aftermarket also..

Long list for us, In the back we replaced the Tail lights with modded RS tail lights, then paint tinted them and the 3 rd brake lights, as well as all 4 side markers, at the same time replaced all the bulbs on the side markers and license plate to LED's.

Next replaced the rear crash bar to a lighter one and added a tow hook receiver to the crash bar, what we did to cover the tow hook was to use a gen 2 license plate holder that pulls down, at the same time we added a back up camera to the MYlink.

Now for the front we did the same lighter crash bar, saved 10lb and we made it work with the opening in the lower grill for the tow hook, then we put RS headlights, and fog lights with high power LEDs.

Next will do a color HUD and dash.
