I just love my 1LE i couldn't be happier. This is my 1st V8, and im 55, it took me my whole life to have something like this, and im very grateful. I keep reading about how the car looks cheap inside, i just dont see it, i think she looks just fine I dont have a problem seeing out of her as well, especially on track....gratuitous plug... im tracking baby next Sun. along with like 13 other C5 guy's should be quite the event.

Yup my car is such a blast to drive. My only complaint is having to either store it from late Dec- Jan, or get new tires and probably wheel set.

I'll probably store it so it wont get salt underneath, but still sucks for 2 months I might not be able to drive it.

Sadly, our season is pretty much over :( There are things I wanted to test (like real oil temp gauge), but I just can't find a track day.

i love mine. love the six speed. the hell with that paddle shifter auto crap and even worse ( for gods sake ) cylinder deactivation???
dual mode exhaust is icing on the option list cake.

where else can you have this much fun for $37k? NOWHERE ! I'd go drive now if the friday halloween nazis weren't clogging the roads.

Get some All Season tires or Winter tires if you are really concerned. I'm gonna put on Michelin Sport Alpins next month and probably keep them on through March. That plus starts in second should keep me on the road in all but extreme snow and ice.

I've reminded everybody of this countless times on here and elsewhere when Camaro and even Chevy performance in general was brought up.

Oppenheiser did make it clear, one of their objectives and goals was exactly this. That was for the name to finally be used in the same sentence with the likes of AMG, Porsche, etc, during a conversation about performance cars. Seems that this might actually happen finally. .

A definate far cry not too long ago at all, these cars were mocked and I mean mocked in the ROW. I was one of them fwiw (cigarette).

I'm quite grateful that they may have finally listened to guys like me!
