It boggles my mind that you guys buy into the 'secret sauce' talk. It's just an offset! Everybody and every vendor who needs to know already know the ranges that work. If you know nothing, work from GM's offsets, and use up to 10mm more when needed, since they are conservative.

Longer bolts reduce the overall strength of the mount by the way; I would think twice about it, especially if you will drive your car at a road course track, where the front wheels take almost the whole weight of the car in abrupt turns.

305/30/19 on 19X11 all the way around. Could possibly even go 315. Offsets front to rear need to be about 20mm different from each other, so you would have to go narrower with a rotatable setup.

We can set you up with the proper offsets if you want to pick up a set of Forgelines.

Best regards,

For the really wider wheels, it takes some time, effort, and expense to have wheels built and fitted up to see if everything still clears. There might only be one shop working for "truly widest". Nobody else should be getting that for free. At least buy a wheel and measure it.

My front track wheels have about 1mm clearance to the struts in the effort to stuff as much wheel up there as possible, preferably/hopefully without spacers (I needed one @ 0.025", not even a shim-thickness spacer). I doubt that was accomplished in one shot and one mounting and measuring of clearances. If I knew or could remember what the offset was I would certainly honor the request of the people I bought them from to not divulge it. If I did, and it got out that I had anything to do with it getting out there in easy public domain, it'd ultimately be my reputation taking a serious ethical hit. To whatever extent people trust me, I'd be foolish to throw that away.

Wish I would have looked into this more before I started putting together an extra set of ZL1 wheels. Looks like the 19" Forgeline square set up is the way to go.

The Forgeline wheel is a great wheel. I have had them for around a year. I drive a z06. the 18x11 and 18x13 fit and finish is amazing. The bad is the cost of them. They took around a month from the time I ordered. Then I had a miss hap at the end of oct. I was hit right in my drivers rear wheel. No paint damage. There was a little bit of rim damage. Just a little bit of aluminum off of it. The crazy thing is its still true. I figured it would be bent. So it sits in my garage as a spare.

I would also recommend APEX ARC-8 19x10.5 ET22. Even more space up front (+5mm), so you have quite a bit of flexibility. I use them as my daily driver wheels. I actually bought them after they were brought to my attention by L99CAMA2011; he is very much into wheels : )
