I don't dig fake Z's that don't try and look real. Ditch the auto tranny -they never made them. Got a 12 bolt rear? Ditch the 327 sticker and the horrible Z28 badge from a 1969 Z

Might also consider removing the FoMoCo "CAUTION FAN" sticker. No GM EVER came with that sticker.

Pull the Z/28 emblems off. Trust us on this.

Such a cool car as it was originally. Save all the stock pieces that you pull off and have fun with driving the car. Keep the mods "bolt-on" and never cut anything. You will have a lot of fun with it and get the best return on your investment if you ever find yourself in an unfortunate selling situation.

Just an opinion.

in the shop for a reseal

pulled the engine last night due to a leaking ft seal replaced ft seal oil pan pump pump shaft water pump reseal intake ect.

was very surprised when we pulled the intake off as well as the oil pan with 54000 miles showing motor has never been out of this car, very very clean no sludge at all.

did see timing chain was a nylon teeth that had tons of cracks all around it due to shatter any min, so I put in a double roller I know overkill but what the heck never have to worry with it again.

tomorrow itsw put engine back in and fire her up will post engine pics tomorrow STAY TUNED

I can see "ME" written on the side of the block = 327/210HP Camaro Engine Suffix Code. This is also stamped into the top surface of the block in front of the passenger side cylinder head after the engine was finished. The yellow grease crayon was applied before the internal parts were installed. It told the worker what internals need to be used at a glance. This engine looks to be pretty unmolested.
