Would I need a conversion kit for a V6 Auto to install these gears at the dealer?

With the v6 auto it would need a rear end swap because they put a smaller rear end for the v6 auto while the v6 manual and v8s run the same rear end so for them it would just be a change of gears and reprograming while in ur case would be alittle more work and cost but can be done with pretty good benefits

I bought the GM kit and installed myself. The papers that came with the kit had a phone number that the tech had to call to download the cal. There was also a number that the labor was charged to. The dealership had no problem doing it and it took about an hour.
