I'm going to be doing the Driveshaft Shop's conversion kit to a ford 9 inch w/ the IRS system, but will be using the severe duty axles from SLP 'cause DSS' arent strong enough. Will also be going BMR for the toe rods, trailing arms, & lower control arms. Here are links to all:

In case you dont know, i help to get the current fastest 5th gen to run 7.60s @180mph. I can help you out with the parts and setup. .FYI The axles we sell are in marks 6.50 3000plus hp vette, built by DSS...and DSS builds the axles for SLP...If you need some help and factual information just give me a call.We hold evey IRS passanger car record for a reason, i would be glad to show you why.

I know how thisll sohnd to some people but I dont mean it in an a$$-ish way, but what company do you work for H-E? Plus with knowin that those DSS axles will be strong enough to handle that much power is a blessing because itll save me havin to jerry-rig some sort of adapter along with the cost of the SLP axles

No 6 speed or even 4l80e is going to hold 1800hp period. The TH400 is the best route cause these cars are so heavy is why like the TH400 over a glide.

He is the owner of Hendrix Engineering... And I run the DSS axles... Never had a single issue with them..

I've managed a 6000 rpm clutch dump and dead hooked.. Didn't hurt the axles.. I've stood on the gas in 5th gear for over a half mile with no issue.

The DSS axles will serve you fine...
