I would go with 3M Handglaze it is safer on a newer paint job.

How do you know the dealer did not re-paint the car for some reason, and is just saying rep will bounce it because it is not a factory issue.

3M Handglaze will fill scratches/swirls and is likely only temporary. SwirlX will actually permanently remove them. I had a small section on my door that the dealer buffed and in certain light it looked a bit hazy. Couple applications of SwirlX and it's as good as new.

If it is hazing then the panel may just need to be wet sanded. The drip will most likely have to be sanded and repainted. It is not uncommon for new cars to need bodywork when they are delivered to the dealership. Definately take it to a different dealer and keep going up the chain of command until you get the answer that you want.

I'd talk to 80Zedder if I was in your situation. Hell, you might even live close enough to let him see it himself.

I hate to say it but from time to time cars have problems in the paint/weld shop then the guys try and fix them but if they are rushed can butcher it.At the end of our final line for cars that need to be repaired there can be at any given time up to 12 cars needing repairs. Then the guys at QC are asleep at the wheel and it gets missed welcome to the human element ;o( It doesnt happen too often but its just bad luck. Go look at other camaro's on the dealers lot you will not see it on the other cars. Get it repainted or you will never be happy. I work in an auto plant so i know what im talking about.

Thanks everyone!

My dealer was able to correct my paint problems with a little reducer and a repolish of the hood! Now I'm good to go!
