Thought I'd share this clip I just saw of LS7 and LT4s being built.

LT1 does have one hell of a torque curve. A 6th gen SS 8L90E/ LT1 with a 3700 lb curb weight is looking pretty promising.

Great thread OP! I think the LS7 is underrated. The Z/28 seems a bit too fast in the 1/4 for 505 CHP. But Dynos don't lie. Comparing one engine dyno run to a different type of dyno or uncorrected or rear wheel can lie. Back to back crank measurement runs is on the same dyno is as close as you can get.
As for me I solved the problem of LS3s vs (N)LT1s and LS7s or even Voodoos by adding twin turbos to the LS3. Bring em all on. If I do not have enough power just turn up the volume knob and maybe add a two step.

Must be fun to run there!! I can tell you that running here locally at +2000 DA, 585ft elevation, high humidity and uphill track makes no miracle!! C7 stock =113 mph where I am. I guess 115 mph is possible with power shifts and crazy launch...

The fastest C6es I have seen lately are two NA Z06es. On running high tens and and one dipping very deep into the 10s. And in the summer there was a rear turboed C5 with about 850 rwhp. I am sure that was a 9 second car, but the guy was on street tires. Looking forward to seeing the new Z06 and Hell Kitty battle it out.
