Thanks for the insight guys seems like it would be a good race. I'll let you guys know the outcome if it ever happens. If it does it wont be for awhile seeing he doesn't even have his license yet.

No but in all seriousness, I don't see him winning other than ripping you out of the hole right off the bat. So for whatever reason, unless the race is 1/8 mile then I don't see him winning it.

11 actually haha no but I'm 16 and have had my license for about half a year.

i think it will be close, but like some have said, HP and Torque are tough to over come on your LFX

I RACED A 2012 CHALLENGER R/T. HE WAS STOCK AND ONLY HAD EXHAUST. IM STOCK WITH EXHAUST AS WELL. WE RACED FROM A DIG AND I WON AND IT DIDN'T TAKE MUCH, ALTHOUGH HE WAS NECK TO NECK WITH ME UNTIL I WENT FROM 2ND TO 3RD GEAR. BUT ONCE I HIT 3RD I WAS GONE. WE THEN RACED FROM A 30 ROLL AND I WON AGAIN. BUT THEY ARE STILL PRETTY QUICK. JUST HEAVIER. LIKE HOW A STOCK 5.0 IS LIGHTER AND WILL LEAVE THE HEAVIER STOCK CAMARO. SAME THING. IM SURE YOU WILL WIN. RACE IT IN MANUAL AND START IN 1ST GEAR LOL YOU WILL LEAP!!

HOWEVER MAKE SURE THAT IS JUST THAT...AN R/T LOL. I MESSED AROUND AND RACED A 392 HEMI AND I HAD NO CHANCE LOL. WHICH IM FINE WITH THAT. STOCK A 392 IS PUSHING CLOSE TO 500 HORSES.

I never posted this thread with the intent to brag. So why do you deem it necessary to prove yourself better than me because you're older. Don't be jealous because I have a better car than you had when you were my age. I work to pay for my car.

Ive raced an R/T before, not sure the year but I believe it was an older model. Once in third gear I started to walk away a bit. That being said, I dont think the driver was the best as his launch was slow as molasses. It'll be a drivers race.

OP you're probably gunna need some gears to stand a chance. Yeah it should be a blow out but if he gets you out the hole he should win 9/10 times. Now if you were supercharged or something that'd be a different story!

I don't think he meant it in an ugly way man. We're just looking at it like this you are essentially a new driver and this other kid doesn't even have his license yet. So we'll probably never get to see the results which the vs section should be about! Please don't go street racing that's the last thing two new drivers need to do! Take it to a local drag strip.

Yeah I understand that's the last thing anyone needs to be doing I have a drag strip not too far from me and that's where I'll be going. But from my point of view it's insulting because everyone goes straight to mommy and daddy bought you a Camaro when I work for it. But anyway I was just looking for some thoughts that's all

I have a 16 year old sitting right beside me watching a movie that's works hard..... goes to school and plays sports.....so if you need to post some wise ass comments ...side down...think hard. Congratulations bud you are full of yourself. You've heard it all, know everything. You may not be jealous of my car compared to yours now but because I have it better than you had it at my age that obviously bothers you for whatever reason. Just because of my age and the car I have you single me out. Why can't we all enjoy our cars on an equal level? you should be happy younger people are getting into these cars.
