hmmm because some Vert owners (like me ) have a motto: If the SUN is up, the top is DOWN. lol With heaters, heated seats and a warm coat, it's never too cold, especially down here in Texas.

Do you have the top down and air conditioning on in the 95 degree heat during summer?

Come freezing cold or hot summer, if the sun is out and the roads are cleared of crud top is down

Heated seats and heater with coat for cold days
AC on and light clothing.

What's the point of having convertible drop top if we can't drop that top

Now obviously there are precautions and they should be followed, hate the idea of not being able to lower below 32 but if that keeps my top working, will follow it.

Like others said sometimes its just easier to drop the top to move stuff around inside the car

So you are saying that it doesn't really matter what temperature it is outside, you can put yours down?

From the 2014 manual:
TEMPERATURE TOO LOW – TOP DISABLED
This message displays and a sound will be heard when the power convertible top button is pressed and the power convertible top pump motor temperature is below 0°C
(32°F). Wait for the power convertible top pump motor to warm up before using the power convertible top.

I'm not sure it would go down at any temp. I had put mine down in the garage which I had heated up with a torpedo heater and when I put ot back up the bow was bent. The stealership didn't want to warranty it cause I had put the top down in the cold.

yeah I only wish there were vents in the backseat, the AC/heat does a good job of keeping the front seats comfortable but in the extreme temps the back seat really doesn't get any of it. A few times last summer we cut trips short because our daughter was getting toasty in the back.

Cooled seats to go along with the heat would be nice too.

I believe the OP concern was why his Camaro didn't stop him from putting the top down like the corvettes do if there is a temperature limit which broke his 5th bow. The conversation switched to people that do put their top down regardless of weather as it doesn't bother them.

And apparently you care enough to check the thread and respond to the thread without adding value to OPs question which seems just as silly

I'm interested in this conversation as I would not want to ruin or void getting my top fix for something that gm or the dealer deems our fault.
I never would of thought about the water-bag freezing and causing the issue as the last convertible I ever used was a '67 convertible mustang which I never had to worry about these types of problems.

This is my third winter with the Camaro Convertible. I have put it down near freezing temperatures a few times but not unless I was sure there was zero chance of ice in the water bag. Also I drive it for a while (at least 30 minutes) with the heat on before putting it own to make sure everything is good and warm inside the interior of the car. As most of the mechanicals and the water bag are exposed to the interior temperatures.
