Thanks all. I have decided to go with the Solo but will listen to the Guelph member's car in the spring. I think the improvement on the LS3 should be sufficient for me rather than spending more cash for the cats. In Canada we are now at the disadvantage of a low dollar and 13% tax. So it's easily over 200 bucks more for the same thing in the U.S.

how much is it gonna cost you? another member posted above, the location of zoro muffler which is solo performance. whatever you decide I would get it installed from them.. talk to Jeff or Zack. They will give you a deal, better than most you'd get on the internet so forget about our crappy dollar and buy local. pm me if you want to know what I paid

I wasn't clear. Just trying to get across the point that I'd rather not get the cats if I can get away with axleback. I plan to go to Zoro in Hamilton cuz it's closer.

I purchased my solo cat back from zoro. Great service and very happy with the sound, only issue is the AFM. I purchased the Range AFM disabler to help with this issue.

Thanks for sharing Kicker...
Good to hear the so many happy with the solo/muff delete. I don't have the AFM so it should be even better for me. Lately I've been thinking I may just do a delete (not solo) to see how the sound is. If I don't like it I can add muffs from someone, if I do like it I can add the Solo j-pipes. But the more I hear people are happy, the more I think I should just pay up for the Solo and be done with it. Once I hear it in person, it should be an easier decision. J |
