Okay so I met wocampb at the Camaro car show here in Arizona. He hooked up his diagnosis unit and it turns out that even though the error code was still showing in his phone app, it was no longer coming up as a CEL on my car's display.

He also found on his diagnostic tool that the engine was showing a lean condition and a throttle response position error. Hmmm

Low and behold the cold air intake tube nearest the throttle body had slipped off messing up the AFM. I hooked it back up and he cleared the codes, reran the diagnosis and all was fine with AFM and no codes.

I don't think any of this had anything to do with the Vitesse unit.
