Our shop car has those same wheels, I love them, I honestly think painting them black would be a horrible thing to do. Don't get me wrong, I love black wheels just as much or more as Chrome, but these wheels would not be NEAR as good looking in black, that's just my opinion of course. Do what you like best!

Black chrome? Why not just let the chrome wheels get dirty?

I had factory chrome salad shooters on my '96 Z28. They were easy to clean and keep clean. Still looked new after 15 years. Keep what you've got. I don't get the appeal of all black wheels.

How would black wheels be easier to clean, because I would think that black wheels will look dirty long before chrome does. On top of that I am not a fan of black wheels.

Are they hard to clean because you need to polish them?? If that's the case yes it's a pain . If you were to clean them up good then clear powder coat or clear coat , they will be easier to clean ,just soap and water like a black wheel. I've done both

With Black Chrome, they look amazing cleaned...but when dirty, will just look like normal black wheels...

It's kind of the best of both worlds...to a point.

I personally don't go for chrome, so it's not my thing..

I like black rims but thats just my taste, but for your car on that color both colors will look good and for the cleaning part black color will last you maybe a couple days longer they're both hard to maintain
