This is where I have mine, I cut a piece of heavy duty Velcro (white) to fit on the smooth plate where the HUD controls would be located.

Since I don't have the HUD I put mine where the HUD controls go. But I mounted some rare earth magnets to the back of the controller and a metal plate in the HUD recess.

Angrybird 12, no issues with the magnets affecting the controller's functions?
I do like the idea.

Nope, no issues at all, I have 3 on the back, embedded in plexiglass that the two sided tape attaches to the controller.

Right under the gauge cluster. Liked being able to see it and reach it to change the settings if I needed to. Plus it looks all advanced

Where I have mine as well. But I'm thinking of moving it to where the HUD would be after I've seen the pictures here.

I wanted to place mine where the HUD controls go but I didnt like how the cord went under the controller so I went and put mine above the steering wheel under the speedo to hide the cord better

I don't have one, so forgive the dumb question: For those worried about how it looks, why not just run to the center console and hide it in there?

The cord isn't quite long enough To run from the gas pedal to console. Plus I kinda like it in front to turn up the juice when needed lol

I hid mine on the flat bottom edge of the dash, near the center console. If you bend down you can still see it. I don't change my setting so I don't mind not having direct access to it. If I did want to change it I would just change it before I went driving.
