Has to do with the 1-piece stamped panel that made it impossible to consider t-tops.

Not really. A lot of the things you like about the Camaro can be attributed to the passion of the 15 diciples.

For me, any hole in the roof is asking for trouble somewhere down the road. None of my 3 Camaros had them, and I'm glad.

I owned an 84 Z-28 and 89 IROC-Z with T-tops. No leaks, loved em!

I was told we would never see T-tops again in a vehicle that NHTSA had a lot to do with it because like previously mentioned safety issues.

T-Tops, like anything can have issues and some people had bad luck with them, I for one never had a problem with them and am disappointed that they are not an option with the new Camaro but I guess its time to get rid of the mullets, sleeve-less t-shirts and 8 tracks and move on.

I'd take one in a second. Wonder how it would look with the top removed. I love how the C6 Vette coupe looks with its targa top removed as opposed to the convertible.

I think everyone's comments are somewhat justified, but remember this car was reborn around the '69's lines. T-Tops didn't come into the market until the later generations.

easy way to stop a thread lol.

Just shut up They are not going to build them, if you want the wind in your hair, either order a vert when they come out or open a window.

Another choice is when a company starts doing the T-top convertion then get it.

I believe that there are side curtain airbags located where there would have been any kind of T-Top option for a coupe.

Smile 94z & 02z and no leak

I never had leak in either of my cars. Both sat outside. Even through hurricanes. Only water inside comes from blowing sideways. With that being said, I am ok without ttop. They are fun when out, but must be put back in for those afternoon thundershowers.
I love my car the way she is! I do have sunroof. This is my 1st car with sunroof

If this was a fact - damn what do we do for convertibles when they come out in 2011? I guess they will bootleg them across the border of Canada to the USA? You were miss informed. T-tops left in the 90's - Maybe a removable glass top is all we will see.
