Sorry I do not have any in cabin video or sound files. No plans to do it at the moment. I can tell you the cabin sound is very good. It rumbles when you need it to but cleans up and can be quiet as well. I have listened to all of the different system(s) sound files on this site and I really think this system is a mix between the Corsa and the Borla. Not quit as thin as the Corsa but not as deep as the Borla. For the money, this is a no-brainer. I also see no real value is doing a cat back vs. axle back.

When the car was on the hoist during the install we noticed that the front exhaust pipe (pre-cat), immediately coming off the manifold, is actually 2 1/4". It is necked down to connect to the manifold. So flow dynamics 101 says your flow is limited to your greatest restriction. Well that 2 1/4" section of pipe pretty much says the 2 1/2" pipes in the rest of the system are a waste of money. Save for the marketing value of GM being able to say it is a 2 1/2" exhaust it provides no performance value. Thought I would throw that in. Save your money and go with an axle back. Save more money and go with this MRT system. Or if you really want to do it properly go with headers, high-flow cats and a 3" system, if warranty and violating federal emission laws are of no consequence to you.

I have reconsidered, thanks to a nudge from SCRMING. I will post some cabin videos later this evening or first thing tomorrow. This is a great system and everybody on this thread deserves to hear it.

Sorry for the ignorance, but what is the difference between cat-back and axle-back systems advantages-disadvantages
Back in my day all I needed to know was, is if you wanted lakers or just cut-offs/outs.

A cat-back system is an exhaust system from the "back" of the catalytic converters through the back of the car, which would includes replacing the pipes, existing resonators and mufflers on the 2010 Camaro SS. An axle back system is an exhaust system from just behind the IRS (independent rear suspension) module through the back of the car, which includes replacing a little bit of pipe and the mufflers.

It would be great if he could make it for GFX, this axle back will sound so mean with my ARH setup.

BlueClyde.
Alfie here, aka: Mariano. My brother and I spoke to you this evening at the cruise on 22 Mile Rd and Shoenherr. I am the guy that just ordered a VR 2SS yesterday. I think I'll join scrming and add a nudge or two and get you to add an in-cabin video to this thread.

Your exhaust system sounds good. Now that I have heard your system, it is the interior sound levels that I am most concerned with.

Nice to have met you and I hope to see you in the near future.
Alfie

Here are some interior cabin sounds. Sorry for the shaky camera work. Just close your eyes and enjoy the sound. I'm not near as good at this as SCRMING is.

BTW SCRMING I figured out the embedded thing.

Alfie - Great to speak with you tonight. Great turn-out at that show. Too many Mustangs though. We need to change that...

Thanks for the video. It is exactly as you described...sounds great.

I am working on the "too many Mustangs" thing, but I can't add my SS to the count for another couple of months.

I think a lot of system will have some crackling on decel... other thing to remember is the pipes need to "season" a bit... My setup actually sounded a bit better and less crackling after a few weeks on the car... just food for thought..

I could here that popping with the factory mufflers. I believe you will hear it on decel with any of these systems. It really only happens below 2000 rpm on mild decel. I have never heard it on a downshift or hard engine-braking decel.
