I love my 2LT with manual transmission. If I had to do it over again I wouldn't change a thing. Have 1250 miles so far and loving every minute of driving it city or highway.

I really love my 1LT manual ,but I am already looking to replace the shifter with Hurst or MTI. I would like to be able to shift through the gears faster than the stock allows.

Would definitely agree that holding the car in 2nd and 3rd gear is a blast. I pushed myself back in my seat in these two gears many times, especially over 4000 rpms.

Wow . . . 32 MPG! Is this the norm or is it because of a steady cruise on the x-way?

I'd call it probably about the norm with the V6 manual. Short 42 mile drive all freeway @ 65mph for me and I was at 31.1mpg at the end of the drive.

I used cruise control most of the trip, set @72mph.

my V6 manual! I have not been getting the kind of mileage some people have, but I drive almost all city and am a leadfoot. Like another poster observed, mine at first seemed to shift into 2nd a bit rough, but that has smoothed out as I've put more miles put on it. Clutch is very smooth and forgiving - this car has less tendency to stall or rollback than any other stick I've driven.

I (and the car) got a great compliment last week when a coworker (who drives a stick) rode in the backseat and asked if mine was a stick or automatic. He coudln't see the shifter from where he sat - it was that smooth.

I've never been sorry I chose the stick - only disadvantage I can see is if you wanted remote start. And don't forget, on V6s, only the manual has limited slip differential.

Stock shifter is ok, I'm going to opt for a hurst short throw eventually though. Car is freaking sweet though, had her for almost 2 months now and still in love!

I didn't realize that the limited slip came with the V6 at all. Another bonus based on my choice!

I love it!! Gears are still a bit rough from first to second but it's getting better the more miles I put on it I can't imagine driving a car like this with an auto transmission. You won't be disappointed.
