ARGH. It would piss me off so much. You can't do anything about it, no matter how much you take care, because some stupid idiot can't put down there cell phone for a few minutes to keep lives (and nicer cars) out of danger!

I was just reading an article, and they interviewed some people, who really didn't seem to car and said they could do it. This kind of mentality really gets to me.

In New Jersey you'll see ladies put on their makeup, eat some Dunkin Donuts, text and flick you off all at the same time.

This should be a mandatory viewing for all drivers on a yearly basis.

I'm embedding it here:

(I've always wanted to say that)

some ppl are jackasses, most can barely drive normal with their full attention, much less txtn or on their damn cellphone

thats a retarded idea... what if your in the passenger seat and someone else is driving? if your going for a 5 hour drive with a friend then you cant text while the other person is driving?... thats stupid

and sadly, i also text while driving once in a while... but never when there are pedestrians or a lot of cars around... i usually type the whole message wihtout looking and then read it in traffic or at a red light to make sure its right... i need to stop tho, its a bad habit

but i do text and drive, because if i pull over or stop, i lose money because of productivity plain and simple, there are people who can do it and drive at the same time, but on the same note, there are people who shouldnt

NO ONE CAN DO IT SAFELY...it has been proven that talking or texting while driving is as bad, if not worse, than drunk driving...

I'm glad productivity is more important than a life to some people.

Seems like one of my bosses that thinks everything in life revolves around productivity and work.

I don't see how anyone can watch that very upsetting video and still think they can "safely text while driving"...

Lots of people think that they are safe to drink and drive but most people shouldn't do it .... Here in Ca. it is against the law to text or talk while driving but it doesn't seem to slow anyone down, people need to HANG UP AND DRIVE !!!!! If you are reading a text/book/newspaper, then you are not watching the road !

that video shows them texting while driving on a 2 lane 2 way highway with no divider.... who on earth would ever be stupid enough to do that.... when and if i ever do text, its only on 1 way OPEN ROADS with dividers between oncomming traffic... i would never do it in a situation where there are cars comming at me with no divider or if there are people that can possibally walk in front of me... i usually try to keep it to at red lights tho

No need to text when you can use the totally hands free bluetooth in these new cars, it's awesome I love it especially since I have the manual trans. It is much safer!

I cant believe people are STILL holding the phone and TALKIN while driving... i thought there was a law that you HAVE to use bluetooth!! I see SO MUCH of this in south jersey... and the people CAN NOT DRIVE at the same time... accidents waiting to happen!

I know i'm gonna drive defensive like i did with my vette when i get my new camaro... but as we all know... there is only so much we can do to prevent these crazies from CRASHIN into us.
