Connectors don't match. So unless you want to cut up your new car, just reorder. I can't believe that your dealer can't find another dealer to trade with.

the RS tail lights should be a direct swap, but the RS headlights would take some serious modification to make them work. not only will you have to change the light switch inside, but you'll have to rewire the harness to get the correct signals to the correct lamps. the body control module would have to be changed to recognize the lighting/switch/wiring changes. on top of that, you won't have the RS option on your build sheet, so that hypothetically makes your modifications 'worthless' for resale value. i know finding the right car in Kuwait might be a pain, but it's probably your best & definitely easiest option

I am sorry that I have not read through the whole thread yet....I know I know...

But, we tried pricing out this whole package. It CAN be done....but for WAY more than the grand that it costs to put it in at the time of ordering.

I hate to say it.....but the RS package is worth it for the headlights ALONE. Just reorder...

How can it be done?? do you somehow reprogram the control body?? I think i could rewire the harness to get the correct signals...its the the body control module that has to be changed to recognize the lighting/switch/wiring changes what worries me. I think you would still need another switch to use them. I would really like to try to install the factory ones if possible?

Look around to see if you can find what you want but if not Order again and make the dealer pay for his/her mistake or find another dealer. IMO

we only got 1 dealer down here , but i guess ill wait another 4 months for just the rs halos , cuz i think the switch for headlights and parking lights are different too

It also converts your fog lights to DRL. Anything can done, but this isn't just switching out the lights.

Can you find/buy a Camaro State-side and have it shipped?

Laws in our country forbids new cars shipped from other country's except from middle east country's , my dealer insists that the front RS headlights kit Will work perfectly on my 2SS , we will do the job they said .. , i still think that they just wanna sell and sell , most of the guys here care for the looks and not for the specs , my dealer is used to bring random specs and random prices , i never saw this one before but we have a victory red with inferno orange interior and silver strips !! and its sold !

As long as he warranties your chopped up headlight harness then I guess you don't have anything to lose.
