Only law enforcement can access your information with the registration. Am I missing something, or do people do it just because "everyone else does it"?
Thanks! I've often wondered the same thing. About a month ago I got a late notice in the mail about a parking ticket with my tag and vin #s. Only problem is I was about 75 miles away at the time of the ticket and hadn't been in the area in over a year. So I guess I'm a bit cautious since then.

How did you do the SS emblems? Paint or vinyl?

After I paint my calipers blue I plan on painting those SS badges in blue to match the brakes along with adding the chiklets on the fender.

Thanks!

Took me about 10-15 minutes to do the rear. The front is much more difficult since it curves so much. Front took around 25 to get it right.

It was given to me by a friend from work so I don't know exactly what product it is but this looks exactly like it. http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?n...236810&alt=web

Awesome look man! I think you may have just convinced me to do the same... All i have seen is expensive full bowtie replacements but a cheap $30 decal cover would do the trick.

Plastidip works too. Taping it up is a pain, but it's pretty easy to do. I do like OPs carbon fiber look better.

Looks like the bowtie has been updated slightly on the newer 5th gens (not sure what year it changed). Looks like you have a slight border on the inner part of the logo. Mine doesn't have that. Might have been a bit more difficult to get the wrap in that little groove.
