How did they get caught? Did you catch them in the act?

That's personal. As others have asked, did you have a confrontation with this kid (s) in the past? Not that it makes it right by any means, just wondering.

That really sucks!

Man, after seeing that I think I need to run over to the garage and hug my car.

Never saw the kids before. This occurred in a large parking lot and was actually daylight when they started. There is a large apartment complex surrounding the facility. They came in on bikes. One person had to leave the evening meeting early and called to let us know what was going on. The punks hid in the bushes, but were quickly found. The level of stupidity and lack of respect from people these days never ceases to amaze me. My kids know not to touch the paint on a car. Most people don't realize how easily clear coat is scratched. And I chose that parking spot to avoid door dings!

It really hurts me to see that. It looks like your car was targeted for some reason. It probably took those two kids more than just a couple of minutes to do all that especially since they had to think hard how to spell the F word and still got it wrong.

Good luck with the insurance and keep us posted.

Targeting was likely based on location of car and it being the prettiest in the lot. Of course I had just washed it.

Wow, that is bad... Worse thing is the insurance might not total it. They might try to just fix it. Pretty crappy situation to be in.

Do you have a pic of the kids or more pics of the car?

OMG!!! This is just sick!!!
I'm somewhat of a wacko about my cars and I can only imagine what your frame of mind is right now!!!!
I'm so sorry to see and hear this. Just wow.
I feel your pain, but please as much as I would want to do as much bodily harm to them as I possiblly could, don't go there. Please...
Hang it there.

Yes. Still alive. We have a system in this country, but it sucks. I had to eat $1000 repair bill when the wife's car was hit by another piece of human garbage with no insurance. Idiot cop let her drive away from the scene. I had some words with the police chief and mayor over this poor judgement. Not worth suing since she clearly had nothing of value other than her tatoos and smokes.

I'm assuming you don't, but even if you do, DO NOT post a picture of the kids.

That's a shame. No one respects anyone's property anymore. I hope it all works out for you in the end.

Unreal!!! I would have blown blood out of my eyes if I was looking at my car! Then the bloodletting would have started!

I come unglued when stupid people think it's OK to touch my bike... or even worse, put their brat on my ride to take a pic!!!!

Dude... I wish you the best, and hope you can get what you want out of this.
