Yes she is the auto trans, and they did remove the resonator,
Sure glad they did what a MAJOR choke point it was causing in the exhaust system. Now it all free flowing and sounds great.

There seems to be an uprising in complaints/concerns over some drone and bad exhaust sound from the L99 when AFM kicks in. This is also increasing interest. For me, I think Borla has the best sound! You can never have too many videos. We definitely need people to take videos, (safely) from the inside while driving to see how bad AFM sounds when it kicks in and any drone if there is any. If there does seem to be an issue, then maybe we can help persuade Borla into developing some kind of "tuned" sport system specifically for the L99. I would greatly appreciate being able to hear how AFM and a Borla system sounds from the inside!

There is no question. The AFM sucks when you change the exhaust to something more aggressive! I have the ARH with high flow cats on my L99 and the AFM SUCKS! Loud popping everytime it kicks in, which seems like all the time. I had it tuned out under 55 mph and that was a mistake. I am going to get it completely turned off. IF YOU CHANGE YOUR EXHAUST YOU WILL HAVE TO TUNE OUT THE AFM or you will sound like your car is backfiring and running like sh_t when driving down the road.

Borla recommends the Touring kit when you install LT headers. Call them and tell them you aren't happy and you would like to trade up your sport mufflers for the Touring ones, maybe they will go for that. Also they make a venturi that gets tack welded inside the pipes before the mufflers that is supposed to really help with AFM noise.
